MDA Contracting specializes in Construction Management and General Contracting. We are a firm of seasoned professionals who have been together for nearly three decades. Our diverse construction experience and talent have created a dynamic organization which meets the needs of today’s ever changing market.
Our business philosophy is simple. Rather than viewing projects as one time events, we take the long view to maintain lasting client relationships. We respond to all our projects with an eye on our client’s long term goals. Upon the completion of every project, our goal is for the project to be considered a success by every member of the client’s team.
MDA serves our clients changing needs through the management of all types of construction projects. Our diverse experience allows us to service virtually every market place regardless of size. Our customers range from boutique firms to Fortune 500 companies.
MDA’s three principals, Julian Alessi, Ken Saas and Bill Freeswick, are the key to our success. They take a hands-on approach to each of the following areas:
Project Development & Management - Julian handles the estimating, purchasing and management functions which allows the project to be completed on time and built in a cost effective and quality controlled manner. The fact that Julian will personally purchase the trades for the project will ensure that the subcontractors’ bids will be highly competitive and they will have a high level of motivation to perform effectively on the project.
Administration & Operations - Bill tailors the financial, administrative and insurance aspects of the project to maintain a smooth flowing process conducive to on time project completion. This process includes accurately invoicing the project and paying the subcontractors in a timely fashion along with maintaining MDA’s insurance package which includes a ten million dollar umbrella.
Sales/Marketing and Customer Satisfaction - Ken maintains a close relationship throughout the industry with landlords, tenants, real estate brokers, architects, engineers and consultants. He constantly monitors our relationships in the industry and insures that our clients are satisfied during the construction process.
MDA is considered a mid size company within the construction industry allowing for principal participation which benefits both present and future clientele. We can accommodate any client from the earliest conceptual phase and in many cases pre-lease. Our process of review can help determine the feasibility of a project including preliminary costs and schedules.
